Welcome to the Yosemite Unified School District.

 

The Aeries On-Line Enrollment, Phase I allows you to quickly start the process of enrolling a NEW student for school.  Information about the student, such as, Emergency Contacts, Medical and Language information will be collected.  Upon completion, the student’s information is electronically sent to the school.

PLEASE NOTE:  This enrollment is NOT for a student previously enrolled last year in any Yosemite Unified School District school or students that are Pre-Enrolled at YUSD.  This process is only for NEW students NEVER enrolled at YUSD.

All YUSD schools are using the On-Line Enrollment process.  To Enroll using this system you MUST have a valid address within the Yosemite Unified School District boundaries.  If you have questions regarding your residence school please call Raylene Trent at (559) 683-8801 ext 1348.

This on-line process takes approximately 20-30 minutes.  If you are unable to complete the process in one sitting you may log out and resume the process at a later time.

What do I do after completing the on-line data entry process?

Enrollment, Phase II, is completed at the school site.  Please call your school office to schedule an appointment with the Registrar. At your school you will be required to provide the following:

  • To prove age, Education Code section 48002 permits school districts to accept the following:
    • Certified copy of birth record;
    • Statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth;
    • Baptism certificate;
    • Passport; or
    • When none of the foregoing is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent, guardian, or custodian, or any other appropriate means of proving the child's age.
  • Proof of Residence- Under Education Code section 48204.1, the following documents establish proof of residency in an attendance zone:
    • Property tax payment receipts;
    • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts;
    • pay stubs;
    • voter registration;
    • correspondence from governmental agency;
    • or declaration of residency executed by parent or legal guardian of the pupil.
  • I.E.P. - if your child is enrolled in Special Education
  • Custody Agreement or Restraining Order if applicable
  • Caregiver Affidavit or Notarized Guardianship Paper if you are not the parent and are serving as a caretaker for this child.
  • Complete Immunization Record - must be cleared by our Health Aide before enrollment will be completed.
